Overview

These terms and conditions govern your purchase of products from H.Y. Wood Works, LLC, operated by Mark Abbott in Central Missouri. By placing an order you agree to these terms in full.

Products & Pricing

All products are handmade. Because every piece is crafted by hand, slight variations in grain, color, and dimensions are normal and part of what makes each item unique. Product photos are representative; your piece will be similar but not identical.

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price at the time you place your order is the price you pay.

Orders & Payment

Orders are placed by contacting us directly via email or phone. We will confirm your order details, total cost (including any shipping), and payment method before work begins.

Payment is due in full before an item ships unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept common payment methods and will discuss options when you place your order.

Custom Orders

Custom orders are welcome. We will agree on design, materials, dimensions, and price before starting. Once a custom order is confirmed and work has begun, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, because the materials and labor are committed to your specific piece.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship nationwide within the United States. Standard items typically ship within 7–10 business days. Custom orders may take longer depending on complexity.

Shipping costs are calculated based on size, weight, and destination. We will provide shipping costs before you confirm your order.

Local pickup in Central Missouri can be arranged at no additional cost. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery or pickup.

Returns & Exchanges

If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.

Because our products are handmade, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse or minor cosmetic variations inherent to handcrafted goods. Custom orders are non-refundable.

Product Care

Our wood products are finished for durability, but they are natural materials. Items used outdoors will weather over time. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear. Care instructions are provided with each product when applicable.

Limitation of Liability

H.Y. Wood Works, LLC is a small, one-person operation. Our liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the purchase price of that product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, and content on this website are the property of H.Y. Wood Works, LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is always the current version. Continued use of the site or placement of orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Missouri.
